If students manage their time well, they have many opportunities to get involved. Academic Results Sports Co-curricular Community Service Academic Results Grade X PUC B.Ed Sports Volley Ball, Table Tennis, Cricket, Kho Kho, Yoga and Basket Ball are some of the sports activities that are conducted during the working hours in school, and every child is encouraged to participate. Our Physical Education staff are highly committed and SEI has hired special coaching staff for Cricket, Volley Ball and Kho Kho to identify and nurture the best sporting instincts in our students. Our VolleyBall, Cricket and Kho Kho Teams have been very successful over the years and have won many laurels in District, State and Zonal Levels.

Under 17 Girls Volley Ball team of SEI – Mico Layout won the 2nd place in the match held at Christ University.
New Horizon Cup
SEI Volleyball team “DANGAL” overcame a tough fight from Kumaran’s High School and 36 other teams who participated in the State Level Inter – School Volleyball match and bagged the first place. The team was awarded with a “New Horizon Cup” for the extraordinary performance. Captain – Nischith and Vice captain – Rahul were given a trophy for their commendable leadership, skills and execution.
 
High school girls’ volleyball team won 1st prize in cluster level at Loyola school.
Volleyball (under 14 and under 17) girls’ team won cluster level 1st place in Tulip grounds on 31st July 2018.

Primary school girls’ volleyball team has achieved 2nd runner-up in Taluk level at Loyola school.

Individual Sporting Achievements

Our Bilekahalli Students have won First place in Karate organized by 2nd National Open Karate Championship – 2018.
Our Mico Layout Students have won 5 Gold, 5 Silver and 11 Bronze medals and have brought laurels to the institution. Congratulations!
Hockey Skating –Prithvi Rao (VI std ICSE) and Deepak Raj (VII C State Board) of SEI bagged gold medal in Hockey Skating help in Kaiga in Uttar Kannada District.
Taekwondo – Gagan R of Class IV Mico Layout won the bronze medal in International Taekwondo Championship held in Bhutan.
 

Kho-kho Achievements

Kho-kho under 14 won cluster level 1st place in Marp ground Adugodi on 1 Aug 2018.
Co-curricular At SEI co-curricular activities are an integral part of education. We have Interact Club, Red Cross, Scouts and Guides. Scouts & Guides

KISA & DCL Competitions
28 students of ICSE participated in various competitions. Our bright and talented students came out in flying colours and made our school proud by achieving accolades and a position in the top 3. Winners included Srija Rani from IX std (Writathon – Poem Writing ). 1st prize – Bhoomika C – IV std (Artista – Drawing junior level). 2nd prize – Shreeyasree – IV std (solo dance).
Literary Festival
    We organize the Inter-House Literary Fest every year. The objective is to enhance the literary skills of children by encouraging them to explore the English language, expand their vocabulary, and improve their communication and comprehension skills.
SOF Achievers
SOF is an education foundation that promotes various skills among the students. Our Mico Layout students participated and won gold medals and certificates in Science and Math Olympiad exams.

Community Service SEI aims to educate students for life and develop in them a strong sense of responsibility and commitment towards the community. The school endeavors to provide multiple opportunities for students to connect with organizations and people who share the school’s vision and ethos and contribute to service programs in meaningful, productive ways.

Interact Club

At SEI we have set up a Rotary-sponsored Interact Service Club to provide our students an opportunity to participate in fun and meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends. Aswas – Center for the differently-abled
Interact Initiatives Supporting NGO’s, Interact Students from SEI Mico Layout campus helped the people of ASWAS by cutting vegetables, cleaning the premises and serving food. They also entertained them with the dance followed by prayers.
Om Ashram – Old age home
Interact Students from SEI Bilekhahalli campus visited Om Ashram they carried with them groceries, fresh fruits and snacks and distributed it among the inmates. They also spent time talking to the inmates and entertaining them.
BEHTAR SWACHHTA Clean-up One Public Area Initiative
Interact club volunteers along with green ambassador volunteers visited a local government school to create awareness about cleanliness – personal and environment. As part of the initiative, the volunteers cleaned the school and surroundings and painted the school walls with beautiful colors and informative pictures to make it a better place for learning. The benefits of a clean and healthy surrounding were reiterated to the students. They were made aware of the need to continue this cleanliness initiative in their own homes and neighborhood. They also provided dustbins to keep the school campus clean.
Cooking Without Fire
The Interact students of Bilekhahalli took part in “cooking without fire” competition. They set up food stalls and sold the food and raised funds for charity. They also shared the nutritional facts to organize a balanced diet.
Diwali Diya Sale
The interact club members raised funds for charity events by decorating diyas and designing handmade greeting cards and selling them. Students from I to X purchased the greeting cards and diyas.
 

Social Service Awareness Projects

Walk-a-thon
On the 8th of Dec 2018, the students of SEI Mico Layout actively participated in the walk-a-thon for digital inclusion conducted by Samarthanam Trust for disabled.
RecycleKiyaKya
In partnership with an all India NGO, students of Bilekahalli both state and ICSE collected old newspaper and papers and donated it so it could be recycled to save trees.
Beat Plastic Pollution -Save Water Save Nature
Bharat Scouts and guides, Bangalore south organized a rally cum camp from 17th Aug to 19th Aug in BCR Public school, Chikbegur on the topic ‘Beat Plastic pollution -Save Water Save nature’.
World Environment Day at SEI
The students of class 10th ICSE Board Bilekahalli organized World environment day with the theme ‘Clean Environment’. Sowmya of class X gave a speech on importance of clean environment. This was followed by a Kannada song sung by 6th, 7th and 8th STD Girls about environment, planting trees and avoiding plastic. Our students created awareness among the students by designing the slogan placards on world environment day.
Traffic Awareness Program
Safety first is safety always. Traffic awareness program was held at Traffic Park, St Marks Road. A group of 50 students of SEI (Mico Layout ) attended the program. The program explained about the traffic rules to be followed, the speed limit to be maintained, the causes for accidents and various measures to avoid accidents.
World No Tobacco Day 31 May 2018: SEI (ICSE Board Bilekahalli)
World No Tobacco Day was organized by the students of class X. Deepti(10th std) gave a speech on the topic “No Tobacco Day” highlighting the health and other risks associated with tobacco use. Our students created awareness among pupil by designing the slogan placards on “No Tobacco Day”.
