CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing the organization and maintenance of the library, including cataloging, shelving, and managing resources such as books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, and digital resources.
- Developing and implementing library policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Managing library budgets, including allocating funds for new acquisitions, subscriptions, and resources.
- Teaching information literacy skills, including how to critically evaluate sources, cite references, and use digital tools for research and learning.
- Collaborating with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum and support classroom instruction.
- Promoting reading and literacy through library programs, events, and displays.
- Collaborating with teachers to promote reading initiatives and literacy programs.
- Engaging with students and the school community to foster a love of reading and learning.
- Maintaining records and statistics related to library usage, circulation, and inventory.
- Collaborating with school administration and other stakeholders to advocate for the library and its resources.
- Participating in professional development activities to stay current with trends and best practices in librarianship and education.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work with sincerity and responsibility.

- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Library Science.
