Core Responsibilities

• Ability to:
  • design and develop preschool-age appropriate educational activities including a complete teaching plan and follow the plan
  • contribute to child learning, growth, and advancement.
  • monitor and correct children’s behavior in the classroom
  • instruct young children in rules of conduct and learning new tasks
  • select the appropriate teaching method and adapt to children's learning styles
  • effectively communicate with children and parents
  • manage small and large groups of students in a classroom environment and communicate effectively with children, including on potentially sensitive topic.
  • organize learning material and resources

• Proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to the various needs of children and parents
• Patience and compassion suitable for working with young children
• Help children meet educational milestones through personalized instruction and other supplementary assistance.
• Assess students’ performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis
• Address basic interpersonal skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and asking permission in the classroom.
• Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc.) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
• Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
• Knowledge of instructional methods appropriate for preschool-aged children
• Cooperate with administration staff
• Adhere to school processes, protocols, teaching standards and safety regulations

Preferred Education and Qualifications

• The candidate should have prior experience working with children in a daycare/preschool classroom setting
• Ability to develop lesson plans, lead, and participate in activities that meet educational standards.
• Familiarity with classroom management skills
• Any Degree in Education, NTT or certificate in early childhood education
