CBSE CURRICULUM

CBSE envisions the all-round development of students through a holistic approach, by integrating co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in an equitable manner and follows the curriculum designed by NCERT. Our CBSE curriculum is specially designed and adapted to meet the needs of NEP. Apart from academia, our curriculum facilitates and encourages outbound trips, social projects, creative projects like carnivals, exhibitions, cultural programs etc. Thus, the objectives, curriculum and outcome complement each other to achieve the desired result.

Assessments & Evaluation:

The most important purpose of assessment and evaluation is to improve student learning. It plays an important part in helping parents and teachers to recognize student’s progress, understand their needs and plan activities and remedial actions Continuous and Comprehensive evaluation is followed from Grade 1 onwards and feedback is provided regularly to parents.

Assessments consists of two major components –
Formative Assessments (FA) and Summative Assessments (SA). Formative assessment is an ongoing evaluation and is used to monitor the student progress over the course of the academic year. FAs are in the form of cyclic tests, worksheets, projects etc.
Summative Assessments are used to measure how much a student has learnt and happens twice a year mid-term and final.

The report will be shared with the parents during PTM and through the school app inSEIght For Grades 1 to 3, only formative assessments are conducted and from Grade 4 onwards, marks of both FA and SA are computed to determine the final term scores and grade.

Fitness Now and Forever

Our sports activities cover both psychological and physical aspect of a child’s healthy lifestyle education. As part of SEI efforts to help our students connect with roots and culture of Indian tradition, we have decided to promote Traditional Indian Sports as part of our CBSE sports curriculum. We strongly believe this will help build student creativity and strength while facing challenges of modern times. Some of the Indian Sports we will be introducing are – Langdi, Gilli Danda, Patang Udaan etc.

Club Activities: The Enchanted Woods

The look of wonder when brought face to face with something enchanting, the sounds of awe are a part of every child’s life at school. The world of literary character, discovering everyday nature around us, uncovering our heritage, machinations of mathematics and getting creative with hands is what we have in store for our kids through various and club activities.
As part of our CBSE Curriculum we will have








Hobby/Kalakshetra Club - that will offer a wide range of creative activities for students including music, dance, painting, puppetry etc. We have in-house expert teachers across to train the students in pursuing their passion
Forest School Club .
Academic Clubs - The academia clubs help engage students in their subject of interest beyond book knowledge and class activities. These clubs include Antrix club, Heritage club, Literary club, and Buzz Worthy club.
